hello lj goers!! life in lbi is getting better.. its busy season now and the new yorkers are a comin! i was lonely for like 2 days.. but chris came and saved me from being alone.. then he left and i was lonely once again.. but my sister is back from VA so i am all good.. tomorrow we FINALLLY get to go on the beach. after like shity weather and working days.

BUT this isnt why i wanted to type tonight...no..

TODAY, I BOUGHT MENS RIGHT GUARD SPORT DEODORANT!!!!!!!!!!! why you ask.. cuz womens does jack shit for me.. i sweat like a beast... and its embarrassing. and wet.. hahah .. yeah its funny.. we'll see if it will work for me.. i had to find one that smells less manly.. haha the one i have is a hint of a man.. so i grabbed it haha..

me and my sister had the cvs girls rollllling. andrea would be like.. how about this one?! ME: no, it smells too much like a dude..

karen here, spring at bcc is over with and i am on my 1 week summer break, until summer one starts. this is my best sem. at bcc yet iam so happy...i am not sure my grades are yet. i am thinking bbbc. i start ben and jerrys again in 2 weeks. this week i am going to a few parties. exciting.. drinking may go down. tomorrow and weds i have a hockey game. i play every weds. woo.. everything is good i think..

1. alkaline trio is the most amazing band there is. laura and i are loving them long time!!!!!!!! <3333333333333333

2. flyers season is almost coming to an end. fans get ready for change over the summer. good changes cuz theyare going to come back and take the cup in the 07-08 season.

3. school is going well.. i have to get my projects in :o( i need to take pics.. i am kinda behinde but i can catch up quick. and then i have to work on my final project...

4. ice hockey.. i feel that i work harder than anyone on my team.. minus the girls who play on highschool teams.. but for a girl who only plays for the flames. i go out with chris almostly every week and skate and sometimes go to stick time. he is basicly my trainer if you will, we work hard and we sweat well i sweat and i learn so much and for a FIRST TIMER ice player i improved faster than some of the girls who been playing all season.plus.. my passing is GREAT!! the point of passing not right to the stick is to make your team-mate skate to the puck and have better control with it .. i mean i cant be spoon feeding my team-mates the puck and if you lose control its not my fault.. if you watch your top nhl player give a pass they do it on the fly you dont see them putting it right on the stick.. they make the skate alil...unless they are setting up a play in there offensive zone thats when they plass right to the stick... i feel that i do that.. plus i have the BEST hockey trainer ever watching me at every game. and he tells me what i do wrong and passing isnt one of them...for stick handling.. i am fine.. i dont lose control of the puck soo i am not worried. i think fall season i am going to join the phily freeze team..i heard they are good. lol jenn you should join that team with me!!!! (this is about a convo i had with a team mate last night..she doesnt know what she is talking about)

I just wanted to say, Great game last night!

For those of you who missed it we played a combo team very similar to ours comprised of Hawks D and developmental players. We started off kind of ugly because your goaltender (me!), lifted her stick off the ice to let in a gently pushed puck! But things got better from there! The ice was pretty bad following public skating and players from both teams were falling a lot. Our team just got up and played while the other team cried that one of us hurt them! haha. They even took down Helen's number....not sure what they planned on doing with it! Helen is such a goon! Stella and LeBlanc from the other team seemed to find each other on the ice and run into each other all the time. The ref even stopped play once to say that it was just a case of losing footing as the Hawk player complained. She seemed to fall down whenever anyone got near her. Anyway, we did a great job of not retaliating or complaining. The result was a 2-2 tie.

So, here are some highlights of the game. I will try to remember what I saw from the net that was just awesome to see........the team really improved as the game went on.

Beth did the best forechecking she has done yet.....constantly on the puck.....I think you are more confident in your skating!

Karen stopped worrying that she couldn't stop and just went for it! She stole the puck several times and got her first goal! She and Poptart had one great 2 on 1 where Karen made a beautiful pass to Poptart who took a really nice shot. (the goalie made a great save on it)

Jenna did a great job on breaking out the puck from the wing. She remembered to come lower on the boards to help out the D and also forechecked in the corners coming up whit the puck several times.

Margie took the puck in and shot and went end to end passing everyone to knock the puck away just as the Hawk's player was about to shoot!

Lisa also got the hang of forechecking and positioned herself perfectly for a pass from Helen for her first goal!

Poptart was a good sport and humored me by playing center. She was awesome there. The perfect mix of offense and defense. My favorite play was when the girl in the pink gloves knocked her down and literally skated right over her!

Rosie played a great defensive game. When I looked up she was always there covering the girl in the slot. Sometimes it is hard for centers to get there. She also really hustled to get the puck in the offensive zone.

Helen, the brute of the game, set up both goals with rushes up the ice and caused much upset from the opposing team by having a girl fall down next to her! haha!

Marybeth made some rushes with the puck into the offensive zone to create more offense and did a great job on defensive positioning.

Stella kept #27 on the ice the whole game! haha! She did a great job of having her head up on the break out and finding the wing or center to get the puck out of the zone.

Linda also made one of those great back checks catching up to their player just as she was about to shoot! you have no idea what a relief that is to a goalie!

Becky played a solid game and had great control of the puck bringing it into the offensive zone under control creating great offensive attacks.

Billie made several great forechecks stealing the puck from their defense and creating plays from that by finding our open player or skating with the puck to an open space.

And last, but not least Julia! Julia skated with the puck with confidence. She made some moves to deke their players to get the puck out of the zone. She came low on the boards for the break out and looked to make a pass to our center.

When you put all of these things together it shows why the game was successful. The team improved tons during the game. It was great to see you taking what you learned in practice and using it in the game. Everyone should be proud of how she played. There wasn't one person who had a bad game. I hope that it was fun! It shows what aggressiveness and team work can do!

Good luck on your Sunday games! Play with that kind of intensity and you will do great!

hello, today i must say today was a waste. i watched the flyers lose again and i fell asleep. i watched the girls next door..and annoyed my sister. i am going over to mk's to bake a cake for chris haha. (but we are probaly going to eat it before we show him haha and maybe he probaly won't even see it!) haha sorry.

life is great. the past month was great!! lately i been ice skating a bunch with chris and we went to stick and puck.. that was fun.. i am starting on a ice hockey team on monday. i am not sure if i am going to finish the season off.. but i KNOW i am playing next season! but probaly for the phily team not the aston team. we'll see.

i dont want to start school this week. i am nervous becuase i am not sure if photography will get me anywhere in life..what if i can't get a job.. i could always get my teach degree and become a highschool photo teacher. you know..

today, i got my history test back. once again i thought i did well.. i got a 75 on the last test..so i thought i will get a high grade on this test...WRONG! 58 with a see me in red ink. well, we got done the video on wwI. there was about 20 mins left in class. he ask all the A students to come up.. and the F students.. he assigned me 3 new study pals. i was all ready getting help from one person.. but i need 3 more i guess!? those ppl arent going to drop their lives to help me? trust me i asked. like i get answers from them and then i study. well i guess that not working. THEN he fucking yells at me becuase i didnt go to class on thursday because i was sick.. he yelled at me cuz i didnt call out sick? this isnt fucking work!!!!!! at the end of class.. he started to YEEELLLL at everyone for has D's and F's... saying we are lazy and we dont care about this class and how we are wasting A and B students time.. BULLLLLL FUCKING SHIIITTTT... i been trying.. i try and i try and i try.. i still manage to fail.. i am not smart.. in school i have problems understading stuff so i get help from the ppl in my study group LIKE HE ASKED US TOO. dont call me lazy and say i am not trying.. you dont know me. i guess i have to try even harder than i alreay am. he upseted me so much. i am scared of him now..i am thinking about dropping out of school. everytime i think that i cry. i really feel like i am a failure at life. i have nooo chance on making it out there.

i am scared that i cant get into art school because of my grades.. all i wanna do is photography.. i should have done it since day 1. but what if i fail at that.

right now, there is a boy that makes me happy, he doesnt give up on me and he tries to help.sometimes i dont let him help me but he still tries. he is a great guy, i dont know why he likes me, i am horrible at school and i am not smart.. i am smart but not book smart.

i need to freshing up for class. i been crying for almost 20 mins now, and i look like shit.

ugh, i am pretty worried about school.. i have not been doing well on any of the test i been taking lately. i study..i study alot actually. maybe i am just dumb? i been told i am not studying right.. the fuck is that suposse to mean!? i read, i take notes? ugh fuck that!!! my one teacher basically gives us the test before hand. i am just scared that when i decide what i want to do.. and go to a different school.. i cant get in because of my GPA is shit at bcc.. i just suck at everything i do.. i get over emotional about school.. and i feel like my family doesnt even care..

i need one whole day of worry free..i need a day where i dont have to think about school or anything of that subject. maybe this weekend i will have a day like that.. i will be in richmond, va. to see my sister.. but i know i probaly have to study one of other nights..
